​ Welcome to Chinook Cyber School

The Chinook Cyber School (CCS) was founded in 2009 with course offerings that mainly covered the core curriculum for high school students. Since then, CCS has grown to offer more than 50 courses with classes from ELA and Math to Cow Calf Production and Visual Art.  For the 2022-2023 we are back to business as usual - supporting our rural and urban high school to offer supplemental programming to Chinook students. CCS is comprised of a total of 9 high school teachers (6 full time and 3 part time). 

Communication is the key to successful online learning. Our teachers are committed to ensuring communication paths are open - even though we're at a distance. Past experience has taught us that if we can get students talking with us, we can help them through just about any course. As a parent/caregiver of a student, the best thing you can do is encourage students to maintain that contact with the teacher. We want to hear from the kids!​

I would encourage you to sit with your student as they access courses so you can see first - hand what the courses look like and the kinds of activities they will be involved in throughout the course.

Your student will have every opportunity to be successful with supports put in place by both CCS, Chinook staff and their home school. Of course your support from home is critical. When parents are involved in their students learning, success rates improve.
