Mrs Gabor will be missing this week. As a result, DL students are expected to be upstairs in your classroom, or in the library. The Common area is NOT a choice.
Grade 10-12s please meet in Mr. Midkiff’s room for 4th and 5th period classes for a documentary related to Remembrance Day.
Today is Canadian School Library Day. Canadian School Library Day 2024 celebrates every student’s right to read, and to see themselves reflected in their reading choices. Libraries have been faced with challenges from people and groups seeking to restrict student’s reading choices, and calls for schools and libraries to remove books from collections. On Canadian School Library Day we stand up for diversity and for rich reading choices for every student.
We are looking for one student nomination to represent their school on the Chinook Student Leadership Council for the 2024-2025 school year. Students must be in grade 10, 11, or 12 to join the council. Talk to Mrs Poisson if you are interested
Remembrance Day posters are due next Tuesday. Deb Adland will be arriving to pick them up in the morning. Have your posters ready to hand in.
