Principal’s Message - January

Welcome back students and staff! I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas break with loved ones. As we step into 2025, I am excited for all the things the New Year has to offer - there is much to look forward to! January is sure to be a busy start to the year. This month our boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be busy with competitive game play - go Cougars! Our Central School SCC will be organizing two Movie Nights for our school community in January. These are great events to attend during this cold and dark season. More information will be sent out to families soon! Our Grade 8 class has their annual ski trip to the Hidden Valley Ski Resort on January 29th. This is a special opportunity for many of them to learn a new skill and see Elkwater, AB. Finally, this month will conclude with a non-instructional day on January 31st where report cards will be distributed to our Kindergarten - Grade 8 families.
