Spring Trip​

Maverick’s annual spring trip takes place at the end of May. Every second year a canoe trip is held. The location depends on water levels and availability of camp sites. Preparation for participants involves canoeing practice at the aquatic center as well as at the creek. Safety is always a priority and students must demonstrate the ability to capsize and re-enter their canoe prior to departure. The components of safety, wilderness awareness and protection and self-exploration are essential aspects of this trip as well.
