Saskatchewan Student Assessment Program

The Saskatchewan Student Assessment (SSA) program is a new provincial initiative designed to provide consistent, fair and objective measures of student achievement. This program is part of Saskatchewan’s 2020-2030 Provincial Education Plan and will benefit students by offering valuable insights to support their learning and future success.
Implemented in stages beginning in the 2025-26 school year, the assessments will be developed with Saskatchewan teachers and based on the Saskatchewan curriculum students are already learning in class. The SSA program will not require additional learning or replace classroom assessment.
Please review the SSA Family Fact Sheet for additional details and visit the Saskatchewan Student Assessment Program website.
