Susan Mouland
Subdivision 7: Ponteix, Val Marie, Vanguard and area
Elected in 2016 in Subdivision 7, Susan was born in Hodgeville where she attended school. She graduated from Hair Design Academy and worked in various salons in Swift Current. After she married husband Bruce and obtained her Journeyman certification, she opened her own hair salon in Vanguard. Susan also worked for Chinook as a noon-hour supervisor and facility operator until September of 2016, when she made the decision to run for school board trustee. She continues to work as a Journeyman hair stylist and helps her husband on their farm with the cattle and grain operation.
Susan was on the Co-op Board for over ten years and sat on the Vanguard and District Recreation Board. Susan and Bruce have two daughters and a son: all who have graduated from Vanguard School. Susan is seeking re-election because she wants to keep rural schools viable and she is very interested in the education of our children and passionate about their futures.
