Tena Schneider

Elected in 2024 in Subdivision 1, Tena Schneider is from Fox Valley. She and her husband have been married for 34 years and raised three children, all of whom graduated from Fox Valley School. Tena was an educational assistant for just over 20 years, with experience in Golden Prairie, Richmound, Haven Colony and Fox Valley schools. She obtained her EA diploma as well as her Youth Care Worker certificate. She believes her years in the classroom have well prepared her for the role as a school board member.
Over the years, Tena coached many athletic teams, served as a staff advisor on student representative councils and graduation prep committees. She is a fierce student advocate that is passionate about rural education, and believes that every student, with proper support and guidance, can achieve great things.
