Once again, the Knights of Columbus donated funds to the breakfast & nutrition programs at the Swift Current schools. They grow potatoes, beets and corn in a garden near Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish and then sell the produce from the growing project. This year, they generously donated a total of $2,941 from the proceeds of the garden sales to Chinook schools in the city. The seed for the potatoes (approx 400 lbs) was donated by Dutch Farms in Outlook. Gord Hagen and Terry Coulter from the Knights of Columbus presented the cheques to Tim Ramage, a Chinook Board Trustee for the city schools.
